A Woman Knows Best

It’s National Women’s History Month! Oh, the joy of being a woman. I say this amusingly, yet I do find it honorable. I get to be a sister and a daughter. The first granddaughter of both sides. A wife. I get to be a mother to my precious Sierra Lou. I get to be one of few in my profession and I get to connect with clients on an emotional level that comes naturally to me. (Yes, I do mean to tell you that finances are much more than mathematics and valuations).

If you ask my husband if his wife were a bold woman, he’d simply answer ‘Yes.’ If you ask my father if his oldest daughter were a bold woman, he will give an hour-long rationale for his affirmative response. Both men would agree completely; I just happened to marry a man of few words.

Despite this trait of mine, my intentions with this literature are not to step on toes or make militant passes. Frankly, I vow to stay far from politics. My aim is to offer a capacity to view and learn simply from a woman’s perspective. The title of this blog is more of a gentle reminder than an opinion. It’s just a gift we have!
