Melbourne, FL: – The Melbourne Regional Chamber’s Veterans Resource Committee (VRC) is still seeking bass boat captains to participate in the 2nd Annual Stick Marsh Veterans Bass Challenge on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Presented by Allen & Company, the Stick Marsh Veterans Bass Challenge will provide local service disabled veterans with a day of competitive fishing and relaxation on the famous bass fishing Stick Marsh. Participating veterans and boaters receive free entry in the tournament, breakfast provided by Einstein Bros Bagels, Lunch from Jersey Mike’s, plus admission to the After Fishin’ Barbeque and awards. The top winning boat captain will also select a local veterans’ charity for a cash donation on their behalf. The dinner will be held at Bass Pro Shops Stick Marsh Outpost in Palm Bay from 4:00PM to 6:00PM just after the fishing event. The awards dinner will honor the winning veterans, community leaders, and boat captains who teamed-up for bragging-rights and prizes in this annual event to benefit local veterans. Admission is $25 per person, which includes a sumptuous barbeque feast catered by Code Blue Barbecue. Guests at the BBQ will meet and mingle with local leaders and dignitaries, including Miss Melbourne U.S.A. There will also be ample opportunity to check-out the latest sporting goods at Bass Pro Shops Palm Bay.
